I received this pro-Obama e-mail. Maybe you have seen it. It compares the educational backgrounds of the Obama-Biden team against McCain-Palin. Here's how it goes, and my response:
You are The Boss... which team would you hire? With America facing historic debt, multiple war fronts, stumbling health care, a weakened dollar, all-time high prison population, skyrocketing Federal spending, mortgage crises, bank foreclosures, etc. etc., this is an ***unusually critical*** election year.
Let's look at the educational background of your two options:

About education and presidents...WHAT ABOUT ABRAHAM LICOLN? Was he a great president? What was his educational background? There is a saying that says, "If you know how to read the written word you can learn anything and even become President of the United States." That is what Abraham Lincoln did. As an avid reader he read and studied law books, then practiced law in Illinois. He knew the law well and was elected to the Illinois State Legislature in 1834. He also served as a Member of U.S. House of Representatives, 1847-49.Abraham Lincoln was taught to read, write and 'cipher' (do math) by his step-mother, Sarah Bush Johnston Lincoln. To many people, all this doesn't matter -- none of it. The man has never had a job outside of government or "community organizing". He's never run a business, and has spent most of his time in the U.S. Senate running for President. And why does he vote PRESENT so much and not take a stand YES or NO on issues?
All of this matters to me. When considering a candidate for the job as president, my choice is not the highly educated Barack Obama or his college-educated motor-mouth liberal partner, Joe Biden, but the tough, experienced and maverick team of McCain and Palin -- who are both pro-life.
MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. SAID: "I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." Hey, if you are an Obama supporter, at least THINK about what you're doing. He might be your color, but does he have the right character to be president?
